That is the exact reason why it makes no sense for quality AA or AAA teams to step down and play A ball. If you win, you were supposed to because you are a larger school. It is only good for the A teams and does larger schools no justice. No insult Mom, just a hard fact.

Don't worry, Glee, its one of the oldest excuses in the book. Classification doesn't matter around here like it would on down in the state. If you got good coaches and players, you can compete with anyone.

i think teams are just looking for good teams to play not AAA AA or A classifications and cloudland, unaka, hampton, and uh are as good as most AAA teams. as matter of fact there have been A schools knock off AAA this year on several occasions. fans make a big deal of classifications but you really just want to play good teams, REGARDLESS of classification!!

Tell me wuts wrong with playing A teams. Just cause you get beat by a smaller school, doesn't mean you disrespect them. I guess that means Johnson Co, Unicoi, and HV should drop Unaka, Cloudland, and Hampton. UH, Hampton, Cloudland, and Unaka can compete in 2A. Does that mean that A teams should all travel towards Knoxville to play other A teams in nonconference. If I'm Unicoi and Johnson Co keep Unaka, Hampton, and Cloudland, and pick up UH. If I'm HV and Eliz I play Hampton, Cloudland, Unaka, and UH. Its always a big gate and a great atomsphere to play in.

The thing about that is Eliz is not a quality AA team.

Elizabethton is just scared to play a county team that can beat them. I bet they drop Hampton next year, and you know they wouldn't have played Happy Valley the past 3 years if they weren't in the same conferance.
