barb
I understand the Cherokee/West Greene has been cancelled tonight due to the death of a West Greene student.

PTSportsWriter
I'll post this in this thread too... Here's a stat for everyone. Greeneville has taken 523 free-throws this year. The next highest team in the IMAC has taken 355 free-throws. This comes from a team who takes right at half of their field-goals from 3-point range (422 of 1075 from 3). I noticed quite a bit of "protecting the talent" last night in Greenville

That is an interesting stat but since Greeneville is ahead in most of their games and their opponents are playing from behind, there is a tremendous amount of fouling for possession in their games too. That leads to more free throws.

PTSportsWriter
That is a good point... But nearly 200 more? That may be the case, but i was just astounded to see a team that takes 50 percent of their shots from outside - have that much disparity between them and the rest of the league. G'ville was up 14 with a little over 1 minute to go, (with 2nd string playing), and Cherokee's 1st string was fouling everytime G'ville got the ball.
