What a district! Lots of big games over the next couple of weeks. I have seen all of these teams play and I would say any of the five could win the district tourney. The excellent coaching in this district keeps things interesting.

IMO, Lipscomb takes the lead of the region with the help of CPA, which makes Saturday's game really BIG!

Whoever is on their game come tournament time wins it. It's happened so many times that the best team doesn't necessarily win it. Lipscomb's more experienced, but we'll wait and see. CPA needs the 3 to work for them, and Z needs to stay out of foul trouble.

I think CPA will get a big home win tomorrow against MLK behind huge home crowd!!! David Lipscomb will take care of FRA with no problem i suspect, and like said earlier Pearl is too tough for Ezell! Saturdays game David Lipscomb vs. CPA is going to be huge!!! Assuming both win tomorrow the winner of saturdays game will have a ton of momentum heading into tournament play!! its ganna be a fun couple of weeks!!!! It will also be interesting to see how a young CPA team reacts to two big games in a row and a hostile crowd on Saturday night!!

What a night in the district with a huge win for CPA over MLK in overtime!!!!! CPA went up 19 early in the first half but MLK came back to lead at half and by 10 with about 4 minutes to go. Robinson then fouled out and CPA came back to send it into overtime. In overtime the Royals had no offense and CPA hit big foul shots to take the game! With DL big win over FRA tonight this sets up a big round 2 showdown on Saturday night with CPA @ DL!! also EZELL got a huge win on the road over Pearl Cohn.
