First off let me start off by saying this was a really well played game last week.

Now from a former spectator we all know both of these teams programs are not as strong as what they have been in the past actually this is probably the weakest I have seen these two teams program in a very long time. Cosby by far has the best talent out of the two teams very athletic post players about 6'5 apiece and the Jenkins kid is just unreal he just needs to find a way to get other players open to go along with his double figured scoring. If Cosby could find a way to get there post players more involved and find another shooter who can step in and take some pressure of Jenkins then Cosby could be dangerous come tournament time. But until then they are just a one demensional team.

As for Unaka goes they have the same problem except Roper does not know the difference between a good shot and a bad shot and has trouble defending on the defensive end of the floor. Thats what surprises me about this years Unaka team there shot selection just kills them down the stretch. A couple of times I have got the chance to watch them play they were taking shots 20 feet behind the arch fading away from the basket on jump shots just did not remind me of past Unaka teams.

In order for Unaka to be a good team as well they are going to have to get other players involved in there offense or later on down the road if there is a later on down the road a good defensive team is just going to run a triangle in 2 on the Church kid and Roper or just a box in one on Roper and make Unaka's other players beat them. Which isn't a bad Idea if you think about it because if anyone has watched Unaka play all roper wants to do is float around the 3 point line and look to pull the trigger. Not saying he is a bad player nor shooter dont misunderstand me but the shot selection and defense could be a whole lot better.

Good luck to both Cosby and Unaka throughout the rest of the season.

And congradulations to coach Flattford on his 200th victory the other night.
