If I'm not mistaken, seeding in State Duals is according to the Regions represented by a placer from the year before. In other words, if Bradley wins state, their region will be placed in the #1 seed spot next year, whether they win their region or not.

Let me ask this question then....if Ooltewah who I believe placed 4th last year at the Duals beats Cleveland to qualifiy for this year tournament, then would they not deserve a seed? Also, where is the cirteria for seeding this tournament to be found on the TSSAA website? Or is all this just speculation?

Ok, I know no one out east respects memphis wrestling, but at least give teams credit when they have earned it. This is atleast the fifth time a team other than Collierville has been mentioned to have placed fourth in the state duals last year. Thank you to Bayou Bear for the correction, but that Collierville team worked hard for that recognition, so please get your facts streight before you put them down in "print".

Bayou Bear,

Awesome Website for BC!!

How in the world do you have time for all that?

Anyway, I'm glad you found the time for it!

timcol, I believe Da Bears is the one who does that website and not Bayou Bear. I agree it does look good and it is not completed yet.

Dragon12, I read the following on www.chattanoogan.com:

Notes: Bradley has qualified for the state duals 13 times, including the last 10 years … The Bears have won eight state duals crowns … Cleveland has advanced to the state duals five times, winning twice … Ooltewah (22-4) was a wild card team in 2006 and finished fourth in its first appearance at the big dance

I didn't remember who was 4th so I took to word of a reporter in this article. I wasn't trying to dispresect Memphis or whatever you said....I just need to remember don't believe everything you read! Good luck to your Memphis teams.
