you may be surprised if the coaches would get their heads out of there buts and get back to what they where doing in scrimage games and quite trying to build up certain players. Got to have a inside outside game not just inside all the time. They have had a lot of problems this year maybe they'll pull it together

Many basketball players in the west stick to only basketball...that's the truth. They want to stick to their best sport. And most coaches of the better teams don't like their players to take chances at getting hurt playing football

#1 when a private school that should be 2A wins the 1A title I don't count that so the JCS victory for the west is bogus.

Well hidy you guys. Ole Possumtowner finally got hisn ole puter back. Now don't count out dem ole boys down here in Possumtiown. Wer quickr than grandma putting on her kneehi's. We'll be playing them down home Pickett co or Jackson co boys for the chance to enter dat state tourney. Be back later, gotta go milk dem cows.

#1 Feel ya on the private school situation!! However, it is a widely held opinion that if that last second play in the semis had not happened LC would be the state champs!!

 

#2 Not from the same region----FROM THE SAME DISTRICT!!!!!!!! The other district in our region cant hold Lake Co, Humboldt, or Union City's Jocks!!!!!!

 

#3 No hippie lettuce smoked here, Iknow its unbelievable but ask the people across the state that have seen the big three play!!!

2-UH

5-Cloudland

6-Wartburg

 

Maybes

 

Unaka . Rockwood , Oliver Springs

 

 

Put Wartburg, Harriman and Cosby in the maybes. Take Oliver Springs out and take Unaka way out... Distict one will most likely send two teams.

Does anyone think jackson county or pickett will make it i mean sure hope jackson does but seems like to everyone else they think jackson county is a joke i hope we can prove them wrong

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
