Wattad is not on scholarship, he is a "recruited walk-on" or something like that. Science Hill fans got mad when D-B chanted "Clemson Tiger" to Coty because it is a football scholarship, well guess what, that football player handed it to the precious Hoya at The Hill. All I have seen from Omar this year is a ton of whining and getting outplayed by kids that are 5 inches shorter than him. If he is gonna make it in the rough Big East he better grow up a little bit, he will get more than just a little bump in the head at halfcourt.

You really should do your homework before posting catfish. Georgetown had 2 transfer out of their program freeing up a scholarship for Omar.

You do realize that this is basketball...don’t you? And if I’m not mistaken…Coty isn’t being recruited at all for basketball…is he? Why would chanting "Clemson Tiger" to Coty even concern Omar...that's apples and oranges. That's like Science Hill's band playing the Georgetown Fight song at halftime of the football game. Both schools should be proud of these two stand-out athletes' accomplishments?

I know there are a lot of people especially on this thread that are going to be campaigning for Coty to get the MVP this year. I also admire Coty's athletic ability, but in my eyes it would be a tragedy for Omar not to be outright recognized as the MVP his senior year after all his accomplishments in the sport of BASKETBALL and in the Big 9! You got to give credit where credit is due…even if you don’t like the kid’s personality.

Last years Co-MVP and Co-Coaches of the Year situation was a joke that should never be repeated!
