On another note....my son came home from practice saying that he saw Mike Hamilton in the fieldhouse this afternoon in Grahm Clark's office. My other son said Grahm was sporting a new UT polo during Advanced Sports today. Could the next UT head football Coach be the our own Coach Clark?

Farragut should have gone to extra innings anyways last year tied at 3 because in the 1st inning their runner was clearly out at first for the third out, but he got called safe and they took the lead 1-0. An example of Farragut fans not being classy? Last year at the very game I just described, the only game in any sport I have attended with DB pitted against Farragut, a number of their fans were absolutely classless to DB fans in the stands both during and after the game.

whoever is saying the young kid is better than sly is a total idiot. young cant shoot and cant dribble with his left hand at all. young is an ok soph. player but he is not good enough to even mention his name in the same sentence as justin. DB has only played six people in their games for the last half of the season, so if Duncan wants to whine about us having a deeper bench, he might need to look that up. Whoever said we would have to use more than six people to beat The Hill must not have been up in Johnson City the night that we took it to em with six players. Duncan needs to quit whining.

No he is one of the two long haired kids that wear the headbands. Not only did Jordan continually get hit in the crotch and Logan reinjure his arm on that jump ball (with 21 coming out immediately afterwards and getting a congratulatory smile and handshake from the coach) but the head coach also was yellin at DB students in the middle of the game. Cradick should probably score at some point in the 4th quarter if he keeps actin the way he has this year.

Wattad is not on scholarship, he is a "recruited walk-on" or something like that. Science Hill fans got mad when D-B chanted "Clemson Tiger" to Coty because it is a football scholarship, well guess what, that football player handed it to the precious Hoya at The Hill. All I have seen from Omar this year is a ton of whining and getting outplayed by kids that are 5 inches shorter than him. If he is gonna make it in the rough Big East he better grow up a little bit, he will get more than just a little bump in the head at halfcourt.

Coty broke his ankle and is having surgery tomorrow to have a plate inserted. He is out 6-8 weeks.

Whoever is saying that they know abunch of kids on the DB team that have transferred in and all that junk, every starter on both sides of the ball except for Marchez and possibly one other went to either Sevier or Robinson. And knowing where almost every starter lives, every one I know of, which is all except for 2 or 3, live inside the city and zoned for DB. Whoever said Solomon is the real deal....no. Having played against him since 8th grade I can tell you. He didn't even get 20 yards against the DB JV team last year.

The statement didn't mean that anyone on the team wanted to cheapshot McFall and get him out of the game. We knew coming in that him being a sophomore, he had never faced a defense like us and he had never been hit hard like we could hit him, so we just wanted to rock him every time he touched the ball because we didn't think he could handle it, and he didn't.

South hardly threw the ball last year. Running was their offense, and they lost both of their running backs. I don't care who this sophomore is, I guarantee he doesn't come close to what Sandidge and McMillin did last year. Curt may be good, but he can't carry this whole team. The DB-South game may be a war, a war of the United States (DB) against the Bahamas (South). South had their chance last year. Curt better be ready to go by the 24th. He is about to get an awakening.

I can tell you that the players definitely cared when The Walk was going on Friday, it is not the same without the band. I do not know who or where you experienced the team not caring, but today, that is wrong.

Talked to Sam today, and he said that he couldn't lift his shoulder, much less throw with it. And yes, Bo will be out for 3-4 weeks with a hairline fracture. Looks like it's up to ole Fart to bring home the Big East.

I would say Dobyns-Bennett vs. Sullivan South, but winning 12 straight years kind of puts a damper on the rivalry.......

Dobyns-Bennett and Sevier County - 2000 The year after Sevier County won state, they were undefeated and ranked #1 when we headed up to Sevierville. We ended up havin atleast 5 D-1 players on the team and won 35-34 after Sevier County went for 2 after a very late TD.
