QUOTE(oaklandPOWER @ Mar 17 2007 - 07:05 PM) 826415579Oakland defeated Shelbyville 18-10 this morning and then rallied to beat Clarksville 8-7 in 9 innings to move their overall record to 6-0. OHS was down 7-2 in the 6th and 7-4 in the 7th. Parsley with the GW hit. Dodd and Barnes hit HR's in the first game. Barnes has 4 HR's in 6 games.

Kind of nice to see that the baseball team got some revenge on Clarksville.

well some times you go to the ball park and its not one of your days..well today was one of those days... hendersonville beat us 11-7 in 10 innings and when i left the beech game beech was winning 9-1 ..today you just tip your cap to the opponenet and get ready for your next game and that is what we need to do after this...luckily it was just a little tournament that has no bearing on your season other than won loss record so its not district and it will have no bearing on any of our goals

tough luck tonight WARRIORS GO get em next time

GO WARRIORS

on a good note the freshman team took 2 games from coffee county this afternoon LOL

QUOTE(Sports Guroo @ Mar 17 2007 - 12:12 PM) 826415337Siegel High School improved last night to 2-2 after a grusome game against the Irish of Father Ryan. It was a poor performance on both defenses combining for eight errors. Siegel, after a three run inning by FR, responded with 8 runs (4 unearned).

Siegel Players Hot:

Matt McCloud - The kid continues to get on base and has hit a homerun. He was 1-1 last night with three BB and one HBP.

Taylor Barrett - Barrett was 5 for 6 last night and has recorded 6 stolen bases on the season.

Nick McCaughley - His speed is really helping the Stars on the bases this season and will continue to find a way on base.

Wesley Tobitt - Tobitt hit a three run shot against Shelbyville and has a BA of .444.

I would really like to hear some news on the likes of Oakland and Blackman. I see that RHS keeps winning but who is hitting and who isnt? Who is pitching well and who isn't?

glad Siegel is winning

It's great to see Oakland beating Clarksville in heroic fashion. They really pounded the ball against Shelbyville this morning. Dodd looked good on the mound against Clarksville. Barnes hit the ball well in both games.

Someone said Siegel RF is out for the year with broken collar bone? Any news?
