Station Camp and Portland will be the top two teams but i wouldnt underestimate White House last years Region Champs who lost 9 seniors 4 of which started in defense for 3 years they have some young talent!! Strong forward(Andrew Taylor) and Strong Midfielder(Zach Trobaugh) they will upset some people!!

Station Camp is going to be the class of this region, as they didn't lose much off of a team that won the regular season district crown and was perhaps an injury away from making noise in the postseason. They should be solid from top to bottom with their top scorer returning as well as a lot of their defense. Portland expected a drop after losing a lot of seniors last year at a lot of key positions, as well as losing three other key players to transfers. However, two foreign exchange students have come in and made this team an immediate competitor. Portland has had a few foreign exchange students in the past, but these two are the real deal and should turn some heads. They do not have the team speed they had last year, but as White House likes to prove every year, you don't need speed or skill to beat the crap out of people. I would expect WH to struggle with their personnel losses, but they will always be competitive.

QUOTE(ThomasJ @ Feb 28 2007 - 10:21 AM) 826393082[/snapback]That is your district. Region includes Livingston Acdy. LA lost one starter from last year's team. They have won 2 of the last three region champ. Should not over look them. Just a thought.

I was not trying to exclude LA, but district 8 is definitely the stronger district in this region. I don't know enough about LA to give a big opinion, but I would not shy away from saying Station Camp and Portland will be the big dogs in this region. If LA did indeed only lose one starter, then they will be in a position to do some postseason damage.

Over all district 8 is stronger by far. LA may be the only one that can compete.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
