JohnDoe , your wrong . you can recieve letters in eigth grade if anyone is interested. They cannot contact you until July first of your senior year. They can also make you an offer anytime they want to it just has to be by e-mail or text message or they can let your coach know and he can tell you.

John Wills of USJ was MVP of District 14AA Tourney. He won the MVP Award over University of Tennessee signee Josh Liles, D-1 prospect Clayton Gant and a lot of other very good players from USJ/Ripley/Covington/North Side/Haywood. Mr. Wills has to be considered one of the top Sophomores in Tennessee!

Good choice! Wills has had a great year. Also Matt Haynes from Liberty.

Both John Wills and Benjie Fesmire are fine athletes that have not gotten the attention they deserve, yet. John makes plays all around, diving catches, homeruns, bunts, you name it he's there and getting better all the time. Benjie has a wicked stick and has become an accomplished pitcher. Not overpowering, but good change in speed and hits his spots. Throws a lot of ground balls resulting in 3 to 6 pitch innings. Again, he is getting better all the time as well. Good luck guys!

You are right Jose, Benjie has done a really nice job this year. Hard to argue about a Sophomore with a 9-0 record pitching, who has also played a solid 2nd Base and hit the ball consistantly all year. USJ has an unbelievable number of very solid young players. The future is definately very bright for the Bruins!

Kolinsky is not a true sophomore. He is supposed to be a junior.

Can't beleive I forgot Benjie was a sophmore. Played so much with him i keep thinking he is in the same grade as some of the other boys. He should definitley be in this conversation.

    • The people need our help!
    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
