They were that good? Couldn't have been? Surely not? Oh yeah, that is what it says on the back of the 3rd base dug out and that sign hanging on the fence and in the front yard of the school. Oh, and they were pretty good in the '80's with the coach through the 1990's being the winningest head coach in the State at his retirement. He has since been surpassed but heck that was 10 years ago.

 

I have a little faith in the coach there now. He has them in pretty good shape. The staff appears to want to make the program competative as usual. I say have at it guys.

They have the players there now that they can become a dominant force in the region again. They have a pretty good sophomore class.

coalfield finished the game with karns today and lost!! they played kingston the next game and they were up 6-5 in the top of 6th and kingston went up one in the 7th and coalfield came out and tied it up and took it into extra innings! top of 8th kingston scored 3 and made iit 9-6!! coalfield came back and scored 2 and had 1 out with bases loaded and popped up back to back! final 9-8 kingston

Rockwood should be a State team this year,anything less would be underachieving or a bad coaching job. and that might happen at crunch time without Lane.

anything rockwood doesnt accomplish wont be because of coaching.. Coach Cofer has the sam philosophy as Lane did. Win. thats all he's concerned with.. Cofer was under Lanes wing for what 12 years almost? whatever rockwood doesnt accomplish it will be the players to blame.. or if that fails, you can always blame the umps lol

This game want be close.. Come on, If they can only beat oakdale by1. How are they gonna beat rockwood! I say rockwood will score 20 runs, And will have about 10 homers cause there field is so small.
