I don't know what game you were watching Ripley was charged 3 errors in the first inning of the first game.

It's what the box scores list. Either way, let's not kid ourselves, the combined score was 21-7.

You have to look at when the errors occurred. Last night, there was 1 kid on when a ball was hit to right field. It must have been a hit and run, because kid on first took off. Should have been a double-play ball, since kid on first was so far off bag. Rightfielder missed ball. That should have been 3 outs. Next batter-Josh Liles. Hits a 3-run homer. Changed the whole complexion of the game. Prior to that, Ripley was winning 4-1. Don't tell me errors don't make the difference. There were certainly more than 3 errors on Monday as well. Anyone that knows baseball can tell the difference between an actual hit and an error.

The only ones who hate USJ are those envious of the successful program they have. We have played them twice this year. Their fans were very courteous, umpires were fair, and their coaches and team acted like true sportsmen. Before you people start bashing another team, you might want to look at yourselves (including your teams' parents and coaches) in the mirror first.

USJ fans, you have a great team and a fine facility. Congratulations!

Hmm, I see. So with the absence of a factual rebuttal you've been reduced to name calling. Here's how a debate works: I state facts to support my argument, then you state facts to support yours, then we go back and forth. It's what this board is about. As you have called me arrogant, I could call you other things, but hence, we would be the same. As we know, we're not. The fact remains: USJ 21, RIPley 7 - USJ 2, RIPley 0. See you in the district.

DG I agree. USJ made more plays, or less errors (however you look at it). But that's baseball (or any other sport for that matter) - whoever makes more plays (or less mistakes) usually wins. In this case it was USJ. In my opinion (and that's what it is an opinion) USJ is the better team because the do make more plays when presented the opportunity (i.e. Josh's homerun). Either way, good luck the rest of the way, we'll see you again in the district undoubtedly.

forfeit, you keep drawing major attention to yourself with the attacks on people. Your spelling, grammer, and punctuation are so bad it is embarrassing. I feel sorry for the good fans of Ripley to have you representing them. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> You are not capable of convincing people of your side when you appear uneducated. The overwhelming majority of fans from these two teams seem to get along fine, so quit trying to stir the pot.

I missed the second game, but I agree that errors were not the deciding factor in the first one. However, they certainly made the final score a little more one-sided than it should have been. On a positive note for Ripley, Bridges is still hangin in there with that painted on uniform. I don't think any of the 30 pop-ups to the catcher during infield went into the stands this year either.

Highly doubtful. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> I will give you points for being thick skinned though. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
