Ravenwood had 2 in the first, 1 in the second, and 6 in both the third and fourth quarters

Franklin had 1 in the first, 3 in the second, 1 in the third, and 2 in the fourth

After the half Franklin scored 1 to go up by two. After that it was Ravenwood taking control. They played extremely well. Created turnovers and great transition game.

QUOTE(cookevillelax @ Apr 24 2007 - 08:14 PM) 826444499How did Franklin lose by 8 if they led at half?

ravenwood had a carwash last saturday and five of their starters didn't make it. coach little, as a punishment, sat those players for the first half. the second half they were allow to play, this is the reason ravenwood ran away with the game in the second half and the first was much closer.

QUOTE(iluvlax @ Apr 26 2007 - 06:05 PM) 826446191How has collierville done this season i haven't heard anything about them this year?

theyre 5-1 and have only played teams from memphis and one from illinois which they lost. Laussane should take collierville when they play and if that happens im pretty sure Laussane will take the region.

How is it determined which teams play each other in the semi-finals? Win/ Lost or Lax Power Rating or ?

It has to do with how a team does in their region. So if you have won all or most of the region games, then you are more likely to go than a team that has not won as many. It has nothing to do with LaxPower rankings. If Laussane goes they will be going in as a 7th ranked team in Div. II. If it comes down to a close descision or tie breaker then it goes down to individual region games. The second game against a region team is the one that usually counts the most but it can come down to both games and who won like if you win both instead of the first of second one only. Right now laussane and collierville are both undefeated in the region and the team that moves on to the semi finals will be determined by who wins that game which is coming up next week i think. As far a seedings i think it goes #1 plays #4 and #2 plays #3 correct me if i am wrong about any of this but im pretty sure this is correct.

    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
