There was actually an article today on a local news station (www.wbir.com) talking about the huge affect it will have on real estate. News story Yeah I would hate to have to have this one rescheduled, there is no time for it at all
sokrfan
The Knoxville High School programs have been successful for many years and will remain successful for many more to come due to the Club Programs that exist. Knoxville club soccer has produced top level teams made up of players from locations all over Knoxville and the surrounding areas. Numerous players from West Knoxville, Maryville, Oak Ridge and other communities, play together on Club Teams and then compete against one another on the High School level. The rezoning will distribute some players to nearby schools but the high level of soccer will remain due to the continued efforts of the Clubs and the parents who support their kids in both academics and athletics. Some will choose to move in order to provide the best educational opportunities for their children, but few will move to provide the best Soccer opportunity. The level of competitive soccer will continue to grow even with the rezoning. As for Hardin Valley, time will tell.
