GCBBCTS
THE TWO TEAMS HAVE SPLIT THIS SEASON, EACH TEAM WINNING TWO GAMES. WHAT ARE THE PREDICTIONS FOR ROUND 5?
PageMan
I'll predict the starting pitchers to be Judd Stoltz for MC and Rob Holley for GC. Game Score: too close to call.
Cowboys Up
Good luck to both teams - and may whoever wins, represent our district in a powerful way and get the state title!
PageMan
Since Wed. is one of those "win you stay at home, lose you hit the road" games, both teams will still be alive for the sectional or sub-state games and both could make the state will wins over Lexington and Bolivar. By the way, CU, is that your dog?
EMbaseball8
Tigers win by 2 0r more Wedsdays!!! It's Tourney Time in Tennessee.. Tigers are usually at their best at this time.

mreverything
The team that hurts itself the least by errors will win.
PageMan
I agree mreverything. I also think the team whose pitcher strikes out more batters will win.
MUSTANGS2
This one can go either way. It really comes down to who pitches well and who plays defense. Both teams will hit and put the ball in play. Whoever has the fewest walks and least amount of errors will win.
PageMan
Good point, MUSTANGS2. It doesn't help your team to strike out 10 batters if you walk 4 and hit 2. And, as you said, the team must play good defense to back up their pitcher. Several times this season I've seen good pitchers lose games on unearned runs. Now time the time for teams to play well, hit well, and pitch well to advance to the state tournament.
Cowboys Up
QUOTE(PageMan @ May 15 2007 - 03:06 PM) 826459593[/snapback]Since Wed. is one of those "win you stay at home, lose you hit the road" games, both teams will still be alive for the sectional or sub-state games and both could make the state will wins over Lexington and Bolivar. By the way, CU, is that your dog? PageMan, yes, that is the dog we just had to put down a couple of weeks ago due to cancer. She had a brother that we had to put down due to cancer just 3 months before. That pic was taken the last time it snowed...she loved the snow.
