CAN ANYBODY STOP THE SODDY DAISY LADY TROJANS?

QUESTION IS, CAN ANY TEAM STOP SODDY DAISY FROM WINNING THEIR 2ND STRAIGHT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

 

FYI- I UNDERSTAND THAT THE 8 SENIORS SODDY HAS, HAS BEEN IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP THE LAST 4 YEARS IN A ROW, WINNING LAST YEAR AND FINISHING 2ND 3 TIMES. I'M NOT SURE, BUT THIS HAS TO BE SOME TYPE OF RECORD IN HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL.----I BELIEVE THEIR COMBINED TOTAL RECORD OVER THE PAST 4 YEARS IS SOMETHING LIKE 188-12 ??? WOW!!!!

OF COURSE, THERE IS SEVERAL GOOD TEAMS OUT THERE, BUT WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT, WHO WILL COME OUT ON TOP??? WHAT DO YOU THINK????

You can't argue with facts. They've always been tough. This is nothing new for that club. This is the toughest section in the state. When you look at other divisions, A and AA, you see the usual teams rolling over their competition with virtually no sweat. AAA has some of the most competitive regions and sectionals you could ask for. If you get out of this section, you've done something special. The key is win the games your suppose to win. Wouldn't they have to be out of school to have been there 4 straight years. Sounds like a red-shirt senior or something to me?

Well lets see:

Last meeting with Brentwood resulted in a loss

last meeting with Riverdale resulted in a loss

last meeting with Beech resulted in a loss

and all of those were with their ace on the mound during preseason....oh but those dont count...or do they????

during the season they have lost to an addition 4 more teams

yes, they have and can be beat

better be practicing girls and bring your "A" game

Hey man, you don't get it! I'm a Riverdale fan and don't mind respecting the competition. Sheesh! I'm just giving Kudo's where it's due....PERIOD! I've always respected their program. I takes them a long time to graduate in chattanooga. We should be used to it by now. It's called bending the rules.

They have the best program in the state...year in and year out. They will be hard to beat. This may be Riverdale's year to break

through to challenge them. I read where Hosfield has the state record for K's this year. She is currently 9th on the all time national list at 565. That's impressive with the competition they've faced. Mt. Juliet...Beech...and Brentwood are all contenders too.

Well, after this year Soddy is probably done for several years. All starters graduate. This year I think several teams could cause them some pain

First, I'm a Soddy fan and let's not assume the person that started this is a Soddy fan. Secondly, the girls didn't start this and don't want any part of this type of talk as they do respect and understand the level of competition that they will face as they try to repeat as champs. Finally, the competition in TN is fantastic and there are several teams that I have seen that are capable of winning the state. Beech, Mt. Juliet, Ooltewah, Brentwood and Soddy to name a few. So rather than start this why don't we just watch the games and let the young ladies enjoy the experience and may the best team over the next couple of weeks enjoy their state championship.
