Those are the picks for round one from the manure farmer.

Is there anyone to stop usj in pool one? I mean really....Pool 2 is loaded and Pool one (no disrespect meant) is not that strong.

I just said this on a diffeent thread, BUT IMO I don't care who you are,(including USJ) the way this tournament is shaping up you had BETTER bring your "A-GAME" ! Ain't that why they play ? There's a lot of talent throughout & NOBODY is gonna wanna go home ! Granted USJ is the favorite in most people/ fans minds, but there's always a "SPOILER" in there somewhere. Looks to me to be an interesting "Spring Fling" for sure!

you have to watch out for those "underdogs." like in 2005, lipscomb was given no respect going into the tourney and ended up outscoring their opponents 42-3 throughout the tourney. who knows if a team will get hot like that again, but if a team is good enough to make it to state, then they have a legite chance of winning it all

    • Siegel Middle School is looking for a Head Wrestling Coach. This will be the 3rd year that the school has had a program, but the Stars have had a middle school team for a while now. This is program is established and has a club team (Stars) feeding it with wrestlers.    Siegel High School is looking for an assistant coach. Again, this program is growing with talent every year. This past year we had 2 state placers.    If interested you can send an email to starstnwrestlingclub@gmail.com or freemand@rcschools.net

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
