73choctawqb
QUOTE(jusdontno @ May 23 2007 - 05:23 PM) 826465497[/snapback]I don't think anyone was dissing Dyer County. My comment was more on the fact that the Goodpasture pitcher had thrown 11 innings which I got from the box score. I was wondering how many pitches he threw to go 11. Wasn't at the game, but it had to be a great one and obviously could have gone either way and a tough loss for Dyer County. My opinion is any team that has made the state tournament has earned respect. And if your still playing, you still got a chance to win. Good luck to the DC. No offense taken. It was a heartbreaker & definitely took it's toll on our kids emotionally & physically. Chad Gammons caught 9 1/3 & then started on "the hill" vs Seymour. The effort & Heart was there, but his legs had to be weary! That goes for all the Choctaws. Yep we fell short, BUT .......... WHAT A RUN ! THANK YOU CHOCTAWS FOR A GREAT YEAR ! To all the Seniors, I can't say enough, so I'll just say "Thanks for the memories ". All you returning Choctaws, you've had a taste, NOW let's get back in '08 !! Chase, Drew,Kyle & C.T. You guys have been awesome ! Best of luck in whatever you do after graduation I KNOW Y'all will help somebody's program next year @ the next level. Best of Luck to those teams still in the mix! Goodpasture, for the remainder of this tournament I am a fan ! But I hope we meet again next year same time same station ! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
