Well, unfortunately time did run out for them. But there is nothing to hang their heads over. They had a stellar season and there is nothing but better things to come for them in the future.

 

A wonderful season Cherokees and we are all proud to have you represent East Tennessee for us this year.

 

Bring back what you've learned from this season and do it all again next year!

Actually, it was a 4-6-3 but still a great ballgame. SD should be very proud of their team. To make it to the championship game in your 1st trip to the Boro is incredible. My hat's off to you guys. Good game

Bell started for the kees and got taken out after the 3rd and brentz went in till the 5th then kirkland went in to close the game

Great game by bartlett they stroked the ball batters 1-9. we hit well too but couldnt get the big hits with runners in scoring position. Bartlett played very well. the better team won tonight. they have a great squad and it was a tough loss but it was a fun season. congratulations to bartlett. great game.

Again, congrats to the South Doyle Cherokees and their coach Robby Howard!! You guys had a great season, represented East TN in a great way. Also, congrats to the Bartlett Panthers and their coach, Phil Clark!! That's a great acheivement to return to the Championship game, and then win it this time. My Farragut hat's off to both teams!!

Man, "Blue" couldn't make up his mind about his strike zone. I was ready to jump over the fence at him. I'm not trying to make excuses for the Kees, but i don't thin the game was called very fair. The kid from Bartlett that hit the 3 run shot in the 5th was out he didn't tip the ball. I was standing right their, and he did not make contact with the ball at all. Besides the fact that the Ump was horrible and our bats didn't come alive until the 5th i thought it was a good game until we got too far down. It seem that we gave up in the 6th well at least we in the field.

IT SEEMS YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE EXCUSES!!!!!!THE FACT IS THE BETTER TEAM WON!!!!BARTLETT IS A GREAT HITTING TEAM(THE WHOLE LINE UP). SD SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF THEIR SEASON. ALL BARTLETT HEARD WAS THAT BARTLETT COULD NOT HIT SD PITCHING. WELL, YOU KNOW THE OUT COME OF THAT!!!!!BARTLETT HAD TO MAKE A STATEMENT AND THEY DID!!
