GPS IS A GOOD TEAM BUT WHY DO PEOPLE ONLY REMEMBER THE GAMES THEY LOST AND NOT THE ONES THEY WIN.YOU GO BACK 5 OR 6 YEARS AND SODDY BEATS GPS HANDS DOWN OVER AND OVER AGAIN.AFTER NEXT YEAR GPS WILL GO BACK TO BEING A REAL DIVISION 2 TEAM AND SODDY ALWAYS HAS A GREAT TEAM YEAR AFTER YEAR.YOU ASK ALL THE REPORTERS WHAT DIVISION IS HARDER AND THEY WILL SAY DIVISION 1. jUST BECAUSE YOU WON THE SODDY TOURNAMENT 2 YEARS IN A ROW MEANS NOTHING.HOW MANY YEARS DID THEY WIN IT.REMEMBER, A BLIND HOG CAN FIND A ACORN A COUPLE OF TIMES. WHEN YOUR THE BEST OF THE BEST YOU CAN NOT GET ANY BETTER.WHEN YOUR THE BEST IN DIVISION 2,WELL............. DON'T YOU HATE

Division II is no second fiddle to Div I in any sport that I can think of. GPS was a great team this season and will be next season. As to your statement about going back to a real Div II team, I and alot of people know what you are implying, we simply don't agree with you. GPS will have great teams in the future as well. You are a little bent about losing to GPS, and have some other bad feelings toward the school, perhaps because they are DIV II. How unfortunate. Its a great school period. I don't give a hoot what reporters say about the strength of teams. They are a little biased themselves many times. I looked at Soddy's record for the past twenty five years and its very impressive. I don't doubt one bit that Soddy will continue to have good teams in softball in the future. I watched Riverdale, Mt Juliet, Goodpasture this past season and I did not see a team that GPS could not compete with or beat on any given day. There were other DIV II teams that could compete or beat them as well. That is the case every season.

Just so we can keep it real!!! My daughter plays for GPS! Please look at our strength schedule ! We do play competitive teams thoughout the year! Don't Hate! And I am sure if we could get more people to play us we would play them all!! We played MT Juliet, Soddy, Ooletwah, Hixson and Trinty Christain.....The list goes on!!!!!!

Who else do you want us to play??? We don't own anybody though!! Any team can win at anytime!!

I wanted to tell you that in the state tournament, there was no question that I was looking at one of the best teams there in any division. With good luck, no injuries, GPS should be knocking at the door again next year. I have been on your campus and it is a super nice facility. Good luck to you and your daughter next season. Hope your family is having a great summer.
