I am debating how to do the poll for DII, Class AA this time. There are now 14 members and I can only include 12 teams in the pre-season poll. Can we reach some kind of consensus as to who I leave out?

What about if I do this? I think St. Benedict and BGA finished at the bottom last year and PJPII has just moved to AA so I am thinking about listing the other 11 teams and listing those 3 as the 12th pick.

I read enough about BGA that they may get things turned around. I had them @ #12.

Why not do it by region like the DI classes?

TSSAA must have just released this breakout of regions. This was unknown before the dead period.

I don't agree but I understand the region breakout of the TSSAA. I would prefer balance regions, especially when playoff comes around. Will this put the top West region against the E/M in the playoffs? It doesn’t see quite right. Maybe TSSAA plans for the playoff is work in progress.

You're right...it's not perfect, but when you are stuck with a stupid split, it becomes a challenge. I at least applaud reducing the classes to 2. The intent was to minimize travel, and to maintain natural geographic rivalries. In addition, the West teams have had less trouble filling their schedule with non-DII teams, so that may have been a thought. There were several ideas floated, and this one seems to be the best.

I believe the two groups will be seeded as one for playoff consideration.

If any one gets left out it should be these 2. Ensworth's first year for any official football and St. Benedicts mostly likely to finish 2-8.. You can make a case for leaving out BGA and Briarcrest also

well, Ensworth, ECS, and Webb have also moved into this region, and you failed to mention them at the 12th spot.,
