2Afootballman
Since County is a 5a team, you will probably get more replys if you post this in the 4a-5a thread. County being a 5a team, will of course have much more depth and that will definitly make a difference when it is 95 degrees. Still Sweetwater should hold their own! County being a 5a team, will of course have much more depth and that will definitly make a difference when it is 95 degrees. Still Sweetwater should hold their own! ...Tyner scrimmaged two(2) 5A teams last Friday...McMinn Co. & Coffee Co...I will try to copy and paste from that thread but in case it doesn't work, go to page 4 in this forum and you will see it under the title: "McMinn-Coffee Co. @ Tyner on 08/03 ...First up was Tyner/McMinn...both teams struggled to get any offense working...although McMinn had an interception during the Rams 2nd series, the Rams scored on a 30yd TD run by #28 but it was called back on penalty...the next Ram possession saw #45 run for 35yd TD and it was called back on penalty...this one ended 0-0 ...Next was Tyner/Coffee County...CC scored first on a pass play and looked like they were going to run away with it but on the next CC possession the RAM "D" stopped CC on 4th and 1 at the goal line...Tyner scored when #5 ran for a 70yd TD ...#2 for Tyner caught a 25yd pass to the 15yd line and #22 ran inside the 5-yd line for 1st and goal...an illegal procedure call nullified any chance for the RAMS to score and this one ended 1-1 ...McMinn beat CC 2-0 and in the 2nd scrimmage CC beat McMinn 1-0 ...the RAMS/McMinn 2nd series also ended 0-0...however before this one ended Tyner had the ball inside McMinn's 5yd line...the RB fumbled, McMinn recovered. ...the RAMS/Coffee Co. 2nd series saw #2(Tyner) score a TD after a 40yd run by #16...once again the RAMS "D" made a goal line stand...this one ended 1-0(Tyner) ...the final series(both benches were emptied) ended with 2-1(Coffee Co.) ajw
i heard that mcminn dominated sweetwater. Well everyone last week said that sweetwater was much better than mcminn central. if i am not mistaking mcminn beat mcminn central on the last play of the game only because mcminn central fumbled 4 times...but once again i am just going on what people tell me
