golfingking36
yes, he is very good and more than likely he will be a contender for the state, but I don't believe he is hardly as good as Goodpastures Joe David yet, but he is also two years younger
ruthlessdcfan08
I still wouldnt count him out the boy can play, what does the joe david shoot usually
golfingking36
well he shot a 60 at McCabe during the Schooldays, then went to match play and won, then he went to the jr state open and won with a three day total of (-8), Payne played well also, I believe he finished third at (-5)

I don't think either team will be challenged for either spot this year. Jackson Co. is very young and this time next year should be the favorite in the district. As for "newcomer" of the year i think that will come from either the Dekalb Co. roster or the Jackson Co. roster. Golf is a great game and we are all priveleged to play it and i wish all the teams good luck. I met two very nice young men from the Monterey High School team recently at the driving range at Ironwood and i wish them and their team lots of success. Stealer007
yes, Jackson County will probably finish 2nd, Robinson is pretty tough Newcomer Austin Garrett from DeKalb
golfingking36
Newcomer Austin Garrett from DeKalb actually newcomer is intended for a new player, such as a transfer or a freshmen, but Garrett is pretty good, his only problem is his streakiness, one day might be 72 and another 85, but yes hes a good kid and a good player
