Being new to the "REAL WORLD" I thought it would be a good idea to get some advice from a team with a little more worldy experience. On second thought we better take our chances on our own. A brand new program with players with little to no game experience playing a varsity schedule year one and opening up with a traditional power house like BGA is going to take some lumps.

I didn't see any East fans on here runnin their mouths about winning this year. It is a first year school that could probably be playing a JV schedule. I was at the game and was very impressed with the fan supports for the team. When they went into half down, the fans were up applauding and cheering. They did the same thing when the team came back on the field to start the 2nd half.

Hickman County has had thier eyes beat in so long.........the only enjoyment they can get is by making fun of someone else who is struggling also. East Hickaman will get better with age. Whats your excuse Bulldogs?....

You've obviously not been reading the post on here. And as for the guy who posted the 4A scores, well lets revisit this thread in november and repost. On a more positive note, HC looked good last night. Can't wait for Mc. The dog is hungry, he must be fed.

I have and I haven't seen any talk of winning this year.

How did HC look and who did you play?

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
