We finished scrimmaging AC last week and I was impressed by their offense. They aren't just running the ball this year. Looks like they have a very strong team. Clinton will give them a tough game because of the local rivalry but AC seems ten times better than last year. My vote goes goes to AC on this one.

AC will win this one. Clinton doesn't stand a chance. Clinton will be lucky to win 2 games this year.

Here is the deal..........Coach Kerr lives and dies by the run and run they will! The only thing that is different is what extra weight they are putting on #11 shoulders. They are putting him in the slot at times and trying to throw the ball to a couple of different receivers. Other than that it will be the same old song and dance, Zeke running behind Colemans lead blocks, and Sharp getting a few balls thrown his way. Longmire may keep the ball a couple of times. Hard nose players are what AC is made of. On the Clinton side, Joey Allen is back and everyone knows he will hit you like a brick wall, he is a senior that is going to make a statement Friday night! Weston Hazelhurst is a game changer on both sides of the ball! Saul Powell in the middle will see Coleman in the hole all night long and is more than up for that challange. And with the new addition to Clintons recieving core, we have speed now. Zeke is the fasted player AC has, and a GREAT player he is, but he cant be in two places at once. With the number also down at AC and Longmire injured last year and Colemans shoulder and knee, they arent very much different than Clinton. Clinton is still getting there feet in under them but a PHYSICAL game it will be!! There is no question Clinton is better than last year, the offense struggled, defense played pretty well. Just remember last year AC didnt blow Clinton out. Althought AC is tough they will come out and basicly do the same thing they have done for years. Entimidations will not play a factor in the game. Clinton will not buy into the frustration that AC likes to bring to the opposing teams they are playing. It will be VERY interesting to say the least. Prediction- Clintons defense will hold AC to 14 points or least. Clinton will get there offense going down hill and will produce at least 21 points I believe Clinton my know Anderson Countys offense better than Anderson County does! Clinton-21 / AC-14

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
