TN Volleyball Musical

This is the sequel (somewhat anyway) to my TN Volleyball Play from last year? If you can't take some fun being poked, then you might not want to read.

 

Since this is a musical, the "players" have been assigned a song.

 

So this would be the cast, as I see it.

 

HS Head Coach: Nature Boy (with as much arm rubbing as he does with the "Fro", it should come naturally. Song: "Blue suede shoes" by Elvis Presley. Hint: One Fro the money, two Fro the show...)

Club Director (new Vball Club in Nashville area): WASP (seems to be rather frank in his/her comments. Song: "50 ways to leave your lover" by Paul Simon)

Schedule Coordinator: Timbdp (thought I'd go for being called a jerk, again. Song: "Too much time on my hands" by Styx)

Setter: CoachT (yes, the man himself because like the setter in volleyball, somebody has to run the show. Song: "Sweet home Alabama" by I can't remember who? )

Server: KCdaddy (just not sure if he is a reserve or a re-serve, maybe we just need a replay! Song: "Once, twice, three times a lady" by The Commodores)

Libero: OldSetter (seems to have a great understanding of all the intricacies of the game. Song: "Jump" by Van Halen)

Defensive Specialist: Floorburn (the name says it all. Song: "Burning down the house" by Talking Heads)

Middle Blocker: RogerHBrock00 (a bit of a stretch but since Laura is at "Middle" TN State. Song: "Hit me with your best shot" by Pat Benatar)

Right side: BB317 (another bit of a stretch but always seems to be on the "right" side of things and is actually a very nice person. Song: "The electric" slide)

Head Ref: GLJ (has been promoted based on his performance last year and since he monitors the site, it only makes sense. Song: "Walk the line" by Johnny Cash)

Down Ref: P4K (she knows the rules, assists with monitoring the site and subconsciously really wants to be like GLJ. Song: "I wouldn't want to be like you" by The Alan Parsons Project)

Line Judge: VBallDaddy78 (because I miss it! Song: "Reminiscing" by Little River Band)

Official Scorekeeper: PageMan (truly the most committed person, with no one directly involved in Vball that I have ever met. In fact, the most committed and loyal volleyball person you'll ever meet, regardless! Song: "Turn the page" by Bob Seger)

Libero Tracker: CowboysUp (I hear she's coming out of retirement. Song: "Where have all the cowboys gone" by Paula Cole)

Fans of soon to be crowned 2007 A-AA State Champs: Almost any AC poster, except Hopi. (Song: "Tie a yellow ribbon round the 'ole oak tree" by Tony Orlando and Dawn)

Fans who seem to understand it's a long road to State, of the eventually to be crowned 2007 A-AA State Champs: All Greenbrier posters, plus Hopi. (Song: "We are the champions" by Queen)

A Dad: Natsdad (had one thing to say, said it and will probably never post again. Song: "One" by Three Dog Night)
