HIGHSCHOOLFOOTBALLFAN
Why dont you coach franklin then. im not saying i should coach franklin. but from my perspective(a fan of franklin), it is frustrating when agrguably our best offensive threat doesn't get as many touches as he should. other than that i think franklin is in good shape. the defense is solid and the passing game will come once the chemistry comes together. lax4life32
So how exactly did McCallie score so many points against the best defense in the state? I talked to some ppl today and it wasnt all the defenses fault. Here's the stats from the game. in alot of areas franklin had better numbers than McCallie, offense just didnt make it happen. There was a 52 yard interception that was returned for a TD, and i heard that Franklin fumbled on a punt return which ended up in a TD im guessin that was the third score where McCallie took 4 plays to go 1 yrd for the TD. Franklins defense is solid and i think could still be one of the best in the state if you look at numbers and not just scores.

Meridian1234
I'm going to go with Franklin on this one. They have some GOOD talent that will be hard to beat.
Footballfan15
Does anyone know if Coach Clayton has any intention of finishing their game with the Burro's? I know Coach Blade has called and I have not heard of any plan to finish.
are_you_serious
Franklin! no one ever gives their defense the credit they deserve.
tenn9fan
I think that Franklin's defense will be a big factor. Remember last year; Ravenwood's starting QB was out with an injury.
lax4life32
Ravenwood 10 Franklin 7 Franklins offense was very sloppy tonight but the defense held up but just couldnt do it all on their own. Ravenwood had the first score by a field goal from close in after being held by the Franklin defense close to the goal line. An interception set up Ravenwood in scoring posistion to make it 10-7. Final seconds of the game Franklin kicks a field goal from like 44 back and it went wide left i think.
HIGHSCHOOLFOOTBALLFAN
Franklin's Defense: THERE REALLY ARE NO ADJECTIVES ABLE TO DESCRIBE HOW GREAT THEY PLAYED TONIGHT. If i had to guess Ravenwood's average starting field position was on about our(Franklin) 30. And we only gave up ten points... INCREDIBLE. But i have to give credit where it's due and RHS did play a good game tonight. Solid team and good coaching.
Dist11fan
Two really good defensive teams who hammered each other all night long.
