Dont rule out Portland... they'll give you as much fight as they wanna....I dont think theyll come up with a victory... but I would bet they have a fuse thats about to be lit... Portland will return to former glory one day, just not on this one....

SC wins 38-6. Thought I was going to be in for a long night when Portland scored on a rather lengthy fumble return had to be 80+ or so. But after that our offence got it's head on right, with a few miscues, and was clicking.

 

Any news on the player taken off by ambulance? Best of luck to him on a recovery.

 

Good luck on the rest of the season Portland, and can't wait to see the Greenbrier game next week, planning to head over there.

Congrats to Station Camp on the win and thanks to the portland band for halftime entertainment. That is what a band should sound like at halftime.

A Portland coach told me he only had a concussion. I said "only?" The boy was knocked unconscious but was responsive when he woke up. Not sure who hit him. We were all praying for him as soon as he went down. Good luck to him on his recovery.

Wow what has happened to Portland over the years? They look like they have fallen as has Waverly.. I remember when I went to Waverly, Portland beat us to head on down the road in the State Playoffs back in 94 and 95 they both had teams to watch and we both went pretty far in. and now they are both running teams that lose nearly every game. Everyone wants to cry injuries and etc but the truth is the other teams have injuries as well.
