There will be a great crowd but the 15,000 call is a bit much You have to understand that many fans coming to see this game will "cancel each other out" - meaning they run in the same circles and often go to a game involving either school each weekend. There are many MBA alums who are now Ensworth parents. It will be packed but not anywhere close to 15,000.

EHS is coming off a good win against McCallie and they should definitely earn some respect for that...however...That McCallie team, now (3-3), did not impress me. They showed no heart when EHS evened the score, and rolled over in the 4th quarter, giving up their 14-7 lead to lose 14-35. EHS definitely has some good athletes and they came ready to play friday. #9 and #10 are special players for EHS, who seem to be able to break it for a big play every single time they touch the ball. Solid win.

Everytime Ensworth beats a team, everyone says that team isnt any good. For example, when they beat Knox Webb (defending state champs) everyone said they lost there good players, and now McCallie. Ensworth upsets McCallie and now people are saying that they arent that good this year, whats next? When Ensworth beats MBA is it gonna be a bad game for MBA? People just face the facts Ensworth is an elite team.

Here comes the hurricane homos...yes it is week 6...yes the hurricane is coming...and yes this friday the shyte shall hit the fan

When Ensworth wins this game, MBA will be having a down year. THe only reason Ensworth won was because Preston Bailey was hurt ext... ext... Ensworth wins 21-17

I dont think you should sound so confident. I do think Ensworth will win a very close game. But it will be just that, a very close game.

    • Pickett is good, may have a Mr. Football like season if he’s used correctly. One of the best teams Marion has fielded in a while. I think they go 12-1 and loose to ER.  ER has better players at almost every position. If they play discipline this year, they win soundly. If they don’t though…Marion could sneak away with it.
    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
