I don't think they had a let down against whh. their qb was back off of the 1 game suspension and was on fire from what we saw on film. it would of probably went the same way if he would of played against forrest though. I'm picking mctown. they are just to physical for forest.

Let down was the wrong word. I should of said disappointment. I don't think they are quite at WHH's level this season, but I do think they should of played them closer and I'm sure they would agree.

that game probably made them better. they just could not get anything going against whh defense. they have been doing pretty good ever since though. they could possibly make the playoffs if they win this one.

I think this weeks picks "should" be easy picks with the exception of McEwen vs Forrest. That one is a tough one to call but I will go with Forrest.

Jo Byrns "should" face it's toughest task of this season to-date. But they will pull away in the second half.

I'll agree with you fever blister except I think McEwen pulls the upset in that one. Do you think your Devils or my Colts lose first this season?

Every game from here on out becomes critical to the playoff picture. picks:

Cascade : (Not seeing much respect from the Eagleville fans)

White House Heritage : (seem to be hitting their stride now)

Jo Byrns : (This looked to be a better matchup yesterday)

Clarksville Academy : (Middle still got a ways to go)

Forrest : (Don't be shocked if this one goes the other way)

Iwill go with you on this one all but I will take McEwen in a close one by 3 but no more then 7

Iwill keep you posted Firday night Cascade11 /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />

If you saw the game you would have said that Heritage could have won that game by 40. McEwen has always been a good sound football team though and they play everyone tough and its hard for anyone to beat them that bad. Ive always said that McEwen does not have very good athletes but they are coached well and play sound football with very few mistakes it will be a great game between them and forrest I think Mactown will win bcuz its at home

JBS dominates NCS probably as bad as Heritage did

Heritage will beat Community

CA over MTCS in a close game

Cascade kills Eagleville

Without looking at the Colts schedule, I will say the Colts lose first just because of Addai and Harrison being out with injury and by the way I am not a JBS follower. Different Reddevil. Different county. Different side of the state.

    • Pickett is good, may have a Mr. Football like season if he’s used correctly. One of the best teams Marion has fielded in a while. I think they go 12-1 and loose to ER.  ER has better players at almost every position. If they play discipline this year, they win soundly. If they don’t though…Marion could sneak away with it.
    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
