ddaddy
One of the papers had this game being played on Thursday. Is that correct?

Gerry Bertier
/huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> Why? Williamson County's fall break starts on Friday. So I guess we want to draw a bigger gate and allow players, coaches, and fans to enjoy their fall break instead of waiting a day. ksgovols
I'd say you'll draw a bigger gate. Harpeth will be there!

Big Country
I'd say you'll draw a bigger gate. Harpeth will be there! Both teams will get a look at Harpeth as well. That's why it is important for the Indians to take care of business this week against East Hickman and not have to show any more than what they have to as far as the other two teams are looking for. I'll be in Williamson County tomorrow night ksgovols but not at this one. I am going to attend the Giles Co. at Page contest. Page is about the only Region 5-3A team that I haven't gotten a look at whatsoever this year.
ksgovols
Hey, it's more high school football for me too B.C.! Fairview's got nice facilities and it's a short drive from Kingston Springs. It's all good. I'll probably get some of that cheap gas at the Flying J while I'm there. My Columbia buddies are going to the CHS/Independence game, but I don't have any interest in the old alma mater these days.

Boy did they put a hurting on Giles Co. two weeks ago. Have a safe trip over there tomorrow night. That should make for a very action filled battle between the Yellow Jackets and the Raiders. They're a 4A team playing in 5A B.C. They beat up on Spring Hill and Giles County but lose to Marshall County? They'll be lucky to win more than one or two region games this year. That Williamson County region they are in is tough. In the old days, they had that long time 8AAA region that they play baseball and basketball in. Shelbyville, Tullahoma, Lincoln County, Franklin County, Coffee County and Lawrence County. That's a little more conducive to going to the playoffs than what they're in now, but I digress.......That's Columbia's problem. I'm proud as I can be that Harpeth is back in their old region. I'm sure Fairview is too.! I'm gonna look up Gerry Bertier and get him to buy me a hotdog and tell me what he thinks of Bruce Pearl now! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
Gerry Bertier
Well I wish I was going to be there tomorrow night but I am driving up to Martin for some flag football games. I didn't know they moved the game to Thursday until I had already made plans. But I will be down in kingston springs in a couple of weeks, which should be the match-up for 3rd place in the region. Have fun up at Fairview, they installed a new rubber track around the field and it keeps getting nicer around that place. BTW I think Pearl is a great coach, just not a great person /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
