MY TURN!! This young man that is being trashed right now had absolutely NOTHING to do with the incident that started this flame. This young man has grown so much this year, not only on the field but also in the class room. He took it upon himself to learn all the "skill" positions so he can make sure he knows where everyone is and guides the others if they are out of position. he has stayed after practice on his own and worked with the youth football program kids, (that is where the autograph requests came from). Coach D took him and a bunch of other players and helped with the Special Olympics this year also. Betcha didn't know all these FACTS?!! Rumors are a whole lot more interesting than the REAL TRUTH. He is welcome at my house anytime he wants to come!!

Every single day, Coach D talks to the kids about doing the right thing, and improve on school work. Talk to the teachers and get their feelings on the real improvement being made by some of these young men. Coach D is trying to do the right things at Central and it is sad that a very small group doesn't want to see him succeed and try to tear them down by spreading sh--house rumors!!!

 

 

Which young man? I never have said a name on here, are you talking about the one that was supposedly put in isolation yesterday for his safety and the one that was escorted by the police for his safety at the Meigs game, chokes a kid until he passes out, and gets in a fight a week later. If this is the same kid redandbluebasketballguy is referring too I can tell he has grown leaps and bounds!! Coach D is doing a great job with him. Oh I forgot these are just rumors. BTW no one is questioning his work ethic and his ability or Coach D's coaching ability its his discipline and how he handles his team and all the problems off the field and yes it does come back on him like it or not because those players do represent you as a fan, the coach's and MC as a school.

ok I have to address this one. when you say that kids have more stuff to get into these days,,, I do agree but you can't let it flow over to sports and the teams they play on. I do not have a problem with the coach just the way he has handled his players problems. When you have horseplay that results in a child being choked till he passes out and all you do is make him run,,, I have a problem with that! When you have the same kid that choked the other player get into a fight a week later and make him run again,, I have a problem with that too. If winning is more important than character I have a problem with that also.. Remember,, this coach gave Knoxville News paper an ok to interview this same kid. Oh,, what a rolemodel we have in this one... Signs atuographs also.. great rolemodel for my child (NOT)! This coach can either get control of the problem and restore his own character or this will keep on getting worse... Hey,, just think,, they just had a scare today with a gang wanting to get the same kid and they even had to take him out of school today for his on safety... Sounds like to me,, there is a problem... and for a coach to be a true support of these young men,, he will have to swallow his pride and take charge!!

But since you are so CONCEARNED with Charger football let me give you the facts so you wont look like an IDIOT the next time you show your concearn. 1. He did not leave school early yesterday. He was there ALL DAY LONG. 2.He did not get into a fight the week after the choking incident. Where do you get this stuff? 3. As far as punishiment goes for the choking incident, the mother of the kid that was choked had a say so in the punishiment. 4. The reason the so called "GANG" was looking for him is because they think he is one of the people that gave them up. Thats right, the 2 kids that were arrested Friday night for drugs and shooting the home of another football player were YOU GUESSED IT, NOT CENTRAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS! If he told on them or not he did NOTHING WRONG! If he did tell on them well then good for him because he got 2 drug dealers out of the halls of Central. Once again for those of you keeping score at home, the 2 kids arrested WERE NOT CENTRAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS! Oh by the way, the kid whose house was shot up, passed not 1 but 2 drug tests last week to prove his innocence. But he was suspended from the team, missing the Tellico game in the process, till he was proven innocent . But you guys say that Coach Derrick has lost control. Now just in case you missed it, Jordan Jackson is being accused by 2 drug dealers who shot up the home of Jerrel Harrison of being a "RAT". The only thing Jordan did during this whole ugly weekend was go to the Meigs-Howard game and have to leave early because his life was threatened. But I guess this was his and Coach Derricks fault.

Mr. Jackson and some of his buddies waited on a some boys from Polk to come out of the Steak and Shake in Cleveland the night of the Polk vs Howard game to fight them. In fact they waited for an hour and half until they came out. Then him and his buddies punched one of them and they got away. He also started a fight at Cleveland High school last year with a boy from Polk and he came up and hit him from behind. He is definately a great guy and has matured! The coach's have him under control. This is the same kid that threatend my nephew at the baseball game. This kid has all of you fooled, a leopard doesn't change his spots overnight but like I have said winning makes some turn a blind eye to things that others can so clearly see.

I heard from another teacher he was in isolation until lockdown was over then let out. I know how to work the sprinkler system it could be really wet friday! LOL!

jordan jackson didn't fight at cleveland last year that was the davis kid...so get your facts straight...jordan jackson was in the BASKETBALL locker room when this took place..duh if you know so much you would know that this took place as the 4th quarter ended at the cleveland game...and the fight started as the two teams shook hands...WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE OUT TO MAKE JORDAN JACKSON A BAD GUY...i mean he is no angel but he is not the THUG some of you want him to be....I heard the fight at steak and shake was started by some of the polk boys trying to jump on one of central basketball players and he called some teammates to help and they beat the polk boys butt...that is just what i heard as far as steak and shake goes...but the rest are facts...

bottom line is central is winning now and everyone has a problem with that because they are not used to it. with winning comes critizism from oposing fans. coach derrick is danged if he does, danged if he doesn't. he obviously a better coach than you ever thought about being. if you are so dang good at coaching and think you are such a big dicipliarian we will just fire the best up and coming coach in the area and you can come over here and do better!!! what are you going to blast coach derrick about after he beats you on the field?

I never said Polk fans are perfect. Trust me I will be the first to blast anyone for doing something classless or stupid. BTW I was not there last year. If you want to bring up last year then I guess it was OK for one of your coach's to call our players MFers all night when they went out of bounds on your sidelines then you want to cry about a flag maybe if you had won the students wouldn't have rushed the field. Remember these are kids!! I thought you didn't like to talk about the past remember that was then and this is now!!!

now tell me how in the world you know that for a fact that was said on our sideline? i don't like to talk about the past when it comes to performance on the field....fans rushing the field was an off the field issue.....and this is now and central will beat polk friday night and if central fans rush the field, which i bet they will, then i bet they won't try to stick a central flag on the 50!!! again, central is a threat to the big bad polk co wildcats and that bothers you. now you can add football to that list of baseball and especially basketball, and yes, i know this is a football topic. what has coach derrick done today that you have a problem with?

the reason everyone is after jordan is because he is GOOD....he is the best player on the better team. polk knows he is going to, along with his teammates, throw and run all over them. they have a problem with that.
