TennFootBallFan
Is Camdens fullback a freshman?Just wondering how that kid was doing ?He played 13-14 baseball and he looked like a football player. I think the kid your asking about is Shannon he is a freshman but is not the starter. Will more than likely get his chance to play more next year. Yes he is a good football player. Ctownfootball
From what I hear they don't want the press....none of the lions do.....they want to be covered as a team.....that's the way it should be......there is so much talent on that team that you could do a full page story on each of them......but they don't want that......they want their playing and teamwork to do the talking for them.....and it has!!!! Good luck tomorrow Lions!!!!!!!!! Since Coach Ward has been here he has only stressed to play as a team and a brotherhood. As an ex-player of Coach Ward I can say that with 100% percrent certainty. Before every game Coach Ward always said "A team that prays together, plays together and a team that plays together, Wins together." He was a firm beleiver in that as a team we all looked the same, for the most part No Wristbands or anything flashy we were all alike. I think that last year Camden started really thinking in that way no one person took complete credit for a win we believed it was a team accomplishment, and this year these young men have really turned to that way of thinking. So Coach Ward has done a great job in creating team unity. Good Luck to these young men playing in this Regional Championship game tomorrow night. Can't wait for 7:30 gonna be some great football action and it's gonna be a wet one the rain continues tomorrow people. Good Luck again, and as always I hope for a safe game from both teams. SC hope for a safe travel both ways. GO BLACK & GOLD!!!!!
donhaney
Congratulations to Stewart County on a great accomplishment this season. To be competiting at this level this late in the season is something to be very proud of. I hope the program has turned the corner and your team can make a habit of your fine season. Camden.. I think most of your guys know how much respect that Lewis Countians have for the Lions. I think we mirror each other quite a bit as far as the programs go. I remember a few years back when the program was just getting turned around, much like Stewart County this season. The facts though; this is new to Stewart County and you are about to experience something quite foreign to your program. Big games for Camden, like Lewis County, are not new. Their staff and team know how to prepare. They have played a very tough schedule this year and it is not for naught. I mean no disrespect for the Stewart Countians but it will take a monumental effort to make it close and an even biiger one to win. Maybe a year or two down the road, this can be a true rivalry game but right now I think it's going to be fairly one-sided.

By the way, congrats on the win against the Bulldogs. I knew LC had that one.

80REB
You are right Butchie about the different personalities but sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between good fun and someone being a clown. Thanks again it has been fun going back and forth with you this season. You know what Iam talking about there are some that just don't like a certian team or teams. Lioness you are so right it is a terrible feeling when some young man limps or is carried off the field. I wish I could be at the game Friday, but I have to work. Camden good luck to your Lions. I will be trying to find that radio staion that is broadcasting the game. Well one last thing to say. Lets lace em up and get it on. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> I can't believe you're not going to be there but me and your partner in crime will try our best to make up for the lack of your voice in our crowd. Got the air horn, rebel rags and all the other "Rowdy Crowd" accroutrements ready to go. We will raise our "spirit fingers" for you. Don't work too hard and hope you get to hear great news around 10 o'clock /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
