smokefb
Is there any news on the young man injured in the North/South game? I was not there, but heard there was a serious injury.
2priceless
What kind of injury was it? Prayers from Oakland.
83SouthRebel
According to the Kingsport Times-News it was an apparent neck injury. The paper quoted Coach Carter saying the initial prognosis was encouraging and the doctor thinks he is going to be alright. However it is a neck injury and by the way the paper read I took it as they still weren't completely sure of how bad the injury is. Prayers go out to this young man, Landon Bedford, for a complete recovery. If anyone else knows of any more news please keep us posted. Thanks. rebeldad316
My prayers go out to this young man and his family. Please post any new updates. According to what Coach Carter told the players yesterday AM it is a pinched nerve in his (Landon Bedford #21 JR) neck. He is out for the season, maybe for good, but apparently will be all right with time and treatment. Don't know if he is still in the hospital, but I've had a pinched nerve and it HURTS!!!! There is no medication they can give you that will take away that pain unless they send you flying. Prayers are most appreciated, I'm sure.
