CAK lost in the 7th shooter. Our keeper ended up saving 4 of CCS's shots! CCS's keeper made the winning shot! Congrats to CCS on a great game, and we wish you the best of luck!

Unfair, or fair about the crowds? Come on GKBD, you KNOW that if it were at CAK, we would have done the same thing. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Yes, I am sure that it got the CCS team pumped up, but we have played infront of huge home crowds before. I don't want to take anything away from CCS's accomplishments. They did what they needed to do to win.

I don't like the fact that it is at a school, and not at a neutral site (like they do in the boy's season). I don't know why they can't host it in Murfreesboro like the guys. It does give an advantage to the home team, but it shouldn't be the reason for a win/loss. OKnative said it best.

I am waiting to hear about Julie Thompson. She went out in the first half and never came back in. That was a HUGE loss for the Warriors. Our prayers are with her.

So, good luck to CCS! We wish you luck (even to your long haired cross country runner!)!

p.s. GKBD, it is great to see you back on. Stop by and see me some time when you are back in town. I have some things for you in my class.

Sounds great! I will be back in town around thanksgiving! I can't wait to see everyone!

I just got off the phone with my little sister and she said. The score was actually Siegel 1-0 over Franklin. Maggie Trollinger scored the game's lone goal in the 12th minute of the first half from 25 yards out. Sydney Dewberry had 11 saves and Kim Conrad played a stellar game in the back. Winn had to be taken to Erlanger.

What happened to Winn?

Was the game as close as the score indicates or was it dominated by Siegel?

    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
    • The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
