Last year the Market Street bridge was closed and we had to travel some alternate route to get to the GPS field. Does anyone know if the bridge is back open and can we get to the field that way? If not, a better way. We will be coming down I 24 from Nashville and then going Hwy 27 North. Advice from there???? Please and thanks.

Market Street Bridge is now open.

Just in case you don't know, get off 27 at the fourth street exit and turn left onto Market Street. After crossing the bridge turn right at your first light (Frazier Avenue). Turn right at your second light (?) which takes you down towards the river. Take your first left at the bottom of the small hill and go straight for two hundred yards. As this road goes under veterans bridge it veers to the right BUT do not go right. Instead, stay straight through the gate. Soccer field is straight ahead and tennis courts will be on your right.

Not to make it more confusing, rather than getting off in the middle of downtown, you could do the following:

Instead of getting off 4th street, stay on 27 and cross over the river. Take the first exit (Manufacturer's Rd) and turn right. Stay on Manufacturer's road until you come to a light at Cherokee Blvd. Turn right. (Road name turns into Frazier Blvd ). Turn right at 3rd light.
