I think the school you are talking about is Nashville Christian School. Not Academy. I have never heard of this squad.

You are talking about Nashville Advancement Christian...it is a quasi-prep school start up...they probably do play Oak Hill's A-team since Pioneer Christian played them last year and their coach is Pioneer's coach from last year but no, they cannot beat Oak Hill. They do have some pretty good players on the team though. I think two or three have commited to Austin Peay and 1 has commited SEMO.

No I am talking about Nashville Christian School outside of Bellvue, Tennessee. I believe that was who catuballer was thinking of too.

The "school's" official name is Nashville Christian Advancement Academy. Their web site is http://ncaacademy.org/.

The earlier poster is correct their coach is the former Pioneer coach. Pioneer did play Oak Hill last year and got blown out (119-71). Will see what happens this year.

Here is the Oak Hill preview from their web site.

How do the 2007-2008 Oak Hill Warriors follow-up on last year's national championship season? Only time will tell if this year's squad will be up to the task of tackling another very demanding schedule -- one that takes the Warriors to eleven different states, competing against the best high school teams in the nation.

Senior Brandon Jennings, a 2007 Parade All-American, returns to lead the Warriors' attack. Brandon is rated as the #1 point guard nationally and has committed to play next year at the University of Arizona. He will be joined by seniors Danny Jennings, Ben Mockford, Yasir Price and Malik Story. Juniors Glenn Bryant, Chasen Campbell, and Keith "Tiny" Gallon will all play quality minutes on the front line. Sophomore guards, Bryon Allen and Pe`Shon Howard, give the Warriors much needed youth and depth.

The 2007-08 Warriors have high expectations, as usual, and are excited for the start of the upcoming season. They hope to continue the long-standing winning tradition of the Oak Hill basketball program, and make their own mark as another outstanding Warrior team.

Nashville Advancement Christian Academy probably has the best basketball team in the state of Tennessee. 3 Austin Peay signees and transfer Martino Brock from Ridgeway. I believe they play Clarksville and Ridgeway next week in Hall of Fame games. NACA isn't associated with the TSSAA. This is a different school from Nashville Christian, who plays in single A.

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
