DonCChatt
Unless my eyes are failing me, Emily Jones is player of the year, but she did not make the first team? I believe the intent of the first team list was to list those individuals who, in addtion to Emily, made up the first team. I think they thought she didn't need to be listed twice. CREE
Is it just me or does anyone else feel cheated/slighted by the CTFP staff. Not only do the boys have a All City and All Area--which honors more kids; but there was two teams (all-city and all area) for Volleyball and Cross Country. Nothing against Volleyball and Cross Country, but how can that be justified. Seems that the Soccer ladies are being short changed. Just my view. doctn
I know their was changes in the coverage at the paper but I felt like soccer took a back seat this year. Jamie Lackey did a good job when she did it but I just felt like they are getting spread so thin and soccer suffered this year with the new changes. Did anyone else see that as well? Do you think it will get better?

In my humble opinion (and as someone who made the Cross Country best of preps first team), I didn't think XC really needed to have 2 separate listings. It dilutes the award too much.
