Shockley took over at White county after Coach Keith Short left for Riverdale. His first season was Ginger Jared's senior season. I believe it was the 91-92 season. They lost to Shelbyville in the state finals that season.

Yep. He coached Jolly, Clark, Andrea Baldwin, Cara Sims, and Christina Hutchings among others. These 5 mentioned was prob. our best lineup.

Unfortunately no. White Co. was living proof for about 5 or 6 years that the best team in the state doesn't always win it. In 1993 Coffee co. won the state. They had 3 losses that season{all 3 to WC}. Including a 31 point loss to WC in the region finals. Nine days later Coffee co. won the state. They didn't beat WC though.

 

Hard to tell how good of a coach Shockley was. He was LOADED with talent while at WC.
