I copied a bracket somewhere and I'll post it later today if no one else puts one up.

 

I believe in the girls side these teams will be there Jackson Co, Upperman, Cookeville, Beech, Dyer Co, Clarkrange, Oliver Springs, a Florida School, and a couple of others that I can't recall of the top of my head.

 

Lots more boys schools playing than girls imagine that.

A Livingston parent told me yesterday that they were going to be there this year.

Could you get the boys bracket as well and post it on the boys thread? I started a thread on the boys boards about this topic, but nobody seems to know what the brackets are. Thank you.

Livingston vs Heritage Tue @ JCHS 8:00

 

Upperman vs Olliver Springs @ UHS 6:30

 

Cookeville vs Meigs Co @ CHS 4:00

 

Dyer Co has a bye plays the winner Jackson Co/Beech

 

William Blount has a bye gets winner Upperman/Oliver Springs

 

Clarkrange has a bye winner Cookeville/Meigs Co

 

all the byes play on Wed 12-19.

 

The Florida team is a boys game sorry about that.

The winner of the JCHS vs Beech game plays Dyer Co. (First Round bye) 7:00 12/19/07 at JCHS.

The winner of that game plays the winner of the LA-Heritage game. 12/20/07 at TBA.

Finals this year at Cookeville 7:00 12/21/07.

      I expect Sevier County might be pretty good, perhaps Mo West as well.     But I don't see either of them getting out of round 2.          The rest of the region gets smoked in round 1.            Except for those once-in-a-blue-moon anomaly years the NET big schools are pretty much the same every season.

      Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton

      My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
