Now seeing how temple is playing now does anyone think they will make it to the boro? What are your thoughts on how they have been playing?

Haven't seen any of their new RECRUITS this year what do they look like? As we all NOW know SKOGEN was playing there ILLEGALLY as was a few others. So just curious are they "LEGAL" this year ? If they didn't get any NEW recruits in i don't think its likely they will make it however if they did then there's a good chance of it. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

Temple most definitely will not make it to the buro this year...especcially now that their number two player (Andrews) is out for the year....even with him they werent lookin to strong...in single A....the only two that have a chance from chattanooga are Arts and Sciences def., and maybe grace...maybe...but temple is not even in the question this year if you ask me...next year yes....but def. not this season...

I have seen Temple play 3 times this year, and i think that this year is a building year for next year.... They lose only 1 senior off of this years team, and he isn't gonna be missed too much... Plus with the season ending surgery of Brandon Andrews, they basically havent got a shot this year.....That is, unless Sexton decides to put the rest of the team on his shoulders and drop 40+ in their big games.... I look for Temple to be third in the region this year, but to win the region and advance to the State Tournament next year....

I believe they will.Right now i believe they are struglling with the team chemistry its there but its just not flowing like it should be.But once they start clicking temple will be a very dangerous team.If anyone seen them this summer they would know what temple can do when they are clicking on all cylinders. It was like a clinic out there when they destroyed the teams in that summer event. So if i was any other team i wouldnt count temple out because they have a long season ahead and plenty of time to get better. With the way sexton is playing he is going to be hard to stop or contain .He cant be stopped and i think he is the best in the state and james kemp can shoot the lights out and is a very good point guard and jarod is a beast and once he start getting more touches and scoring like he can it could get scary and ben is a key player also .He does the little things to give the team the little extra boost and kendall ,once he start playing like he can he would really be dangerous and their bench is not bad either. But once all these players come together as a team which i think they will they will suprise alot of people.

GOOD LUCK CRUSADERS

Wow- here we have another jack #### who doesn't know how to read, and wants to show everyone how amazingly ignorant he is- reading would help you understand that nothing involving the skogens was illegal- nice try with the slander though- keep it up...

I don't know if they will make it this year...think it will be a tough road...

Next year they will win state...mark it down...

if nothing about the skogans we illegal then why did TSSAA have an investigation to see if they were doing illegal things, there had to have benn speculations or something sketchy going on, and not to pay your childs tution is illegal. and for the coach not to be paid in return is being illegal!

    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
