catcoach2008
Micheal is definitely the front runner. Great season finishing with 236. I think we can definitly count on Brandon Barnes to be in mix. Don't count out Jonathan Gudel(hixson). The guys from Soddy are really starting to bring it. I am pretty sure we can count on guys from Memphis area to bring it also.
BigMoney
What you are missing is how hard he worked and practiced so he could average 236.
Bigdog01
stephen, You're not even in his league! Keep dreaming and keep working grasshopper.
catsbackr
Your not missing much he puts his shoe on one foot at a time just like tha rest of us who are going 2 b bowling. Obviously, you are right. He does put his shoes on just like you do. However, averaging 236, apparently his shoes knock down more pins than your shoes do. Just my observation. CoachCCHS
im not in his league, i made tha league and let him join. if hes so good then why dosent he bowl some where other then galaxy cuz when i bowled at tha ssjba and i averaged 219 for 8 games and shot 701 my first set. its such a easy house so yea he did work hard on mastering a house shot but did u c his sports shot scores from last year. he did almost as bad a the hendersonvile kid bryan laundermilk or what ever his name is. Stephen, you need to work on spelling and grammar before you worry about bowling, judging from your post. Michael has been bowling for the last 8 years as diligently as any youngster that I have had the pleasure of coaching or associating with in a center. I have been coaching youth bowling since 1978, long before most of you were born, much less bowling. So don't disrespect Michael because he has surpassed what any other high school bowler has accomplished in Tennessee's 7 year history of high school bowling. Incidently, Michael rolled a 299 game in Lewisburg during our match with Marshall County and had a 300 game and 834 series against Smyrna this season. How many 800 series have you rolled this season? And your 701 at Galaxy is below Michael's average for the season which consists of bowling in 5 different centers. He also finished in the top 30% of the kids nationwide at Junior Gold last year. How about you? We will see where you finish in the Singles Tournament before we give you the respect you fail to give him.

I'm a little confused. I haven't bragged or been cocky at all on this saying I'm better than anyone. Everytime I have posted on here I have wished everyone Good Luck and I hope they do they're best. I don't try to make myself out to be the best in the state nor once have I been cocky about it. So maybe I'm just a little out of the ordinary when I wonder how come I'm being insulted or having comments made about me. But whatever. Everything that needs to be said doesn't need to be put on a website. My 236 average consisted of me bowling at 5 different bowling centers with that average remaining strong at all of them. This included a 299 at a house with only 12 lanes that is not just some "cake-walk" house. It also consisted of me working hard and doing everything I could to be the best I could be. No, I didn't bowl well last year on the sport patterns. I didn't bowl well all state tournament. I'll be the first one to admit it. However, one bad day in my eyes does not signify the character of a good bowler. I don't appreciate being insulted, however I won't insult you back. I feel good about my accomplishments and I hope that in the future, they will speak for themselves. I'm not going to say I'm better than anyone, because I know that anyone can be beaten at any day. Good luck to all who are in the individual tournament.
