If the rest of you haven't noticed, where else in Carter County would a incident of this nature take place? You do the math. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I first thought it would be sportiemom since she is the only one I know who would do something of this nature. But considering her boy pumped in 30 points, that would rule her out. It don't really matter who it was. This continuing tumultuous behavior will only keep the Creek at the bottom of the spectrum. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

a90. unfortunately this could happen anywhere in Carter County. A lot of parents can't see the whole picture, only if their little Johnny is getting to play or being treated like they think he deserves. Most of the players understand where they stand but a lot of parents think their child is another Michael Jordan and should get the most minutes, shots and glory. I could see this happening at any county school and yes even in the glorious city. Parents have lost the perspective of what it means to be just a member of a team. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of really good parents that would and should stand up for their child if they thought something was being done unfairly, but they would know where and when to address it. Again I feel for this young man if he did not have any involvement in the incident. But I have also seen young men who play both sides of the fence. Back the coach when he's around and bad mouth him to his family members making it look worse than it really is. I hope he is just a young man just caught in the middle, only he really knows this.

If Cloudland does make it back to Borro. they will get unmercifully hammered again!

zaA - let's just wait until your kid grows up a little and starts sports and see how you handle some of the bad mouthing you've given to others on here and see if you might be a little more sympathetic once it happens to your own. I'm not saying it was right but you seem to always jump in there with both feet to make the snippy comments. As stated before if the parents were not happy or the player for that matter - it could have been handled at a better time than during a game and with the events that occurred. Emotions run high and sometimes people let them get the better of them. This really does put the player in the middle and could make for a rough finish to a year that's supposed to be the best one. Hopefully, things will die down and everyone will move on but who knows. And I agree that this could and does happen at alot of schools you just don't hear about it until it's a little closer to home and happens to be posted on an electronic bathroom wall.

to all the parents who have set in the stands and cussed a good man you are partly responaable for the actions of that crazy woman friday night.some of you get on the pa and talk about good sportsmanship and lay the mic down and become the worst sport in the gym.some are nice to his face then stab him in the back with your words.some go home and say bad things about a man working hard to be a good rolemodle for your son when they should be supportive or say nothing.how canyou expect the young men to reach their potential when they keep getting these mixed signals?

I agree, maxalt!!! Seems to me that Unaka has always been a sportsmanlike school in all sports, but lately things have gotten out of hand. No knocks to any of the coaches in any of the sports, but gimme a break! Cusing out the coach during the game, heckling your own team, pleeeease. How do you expect to have any success in anything when everybody is cutting the throats of the ones who are trying to help. Good luck, cause it's hard to overcome boys!

    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
