Newstang.....wasn't it Brayden's dad that got kicked out of that game up in Fulton this past summer.......Dang!!!! that was the funniest thing I've seen in a while.

Yea. That ump deserved a lot more than what he got. What an idiot! But I think Brayden's dad got his opinion across before he had to leave /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

District 9A has had sme great centerfielders and this year will be no different, Davis from Forrest can rome some ground(not sure if he's a senior or a junior this season), Blackwell from Eagleville(Senior) He threw 85-86 off the mound last season so you know how good his arm is. And Batts from Cascade should fit in nicely with this group. He's quick, time will tell how much ground he can cover. Davis and Blackwell had two of the best sticks also last season, not sure what Batts can do at the plate. Didn't get too see him play last season due to transfer rules.

Drew Martinez, CF from Christian Brothers High School is got to be in the top 3 in the state at outfield. he played on team tennessee and made all-tounament team (only the top 20 kids at the tournament) at the Junior Sunbelt Classic hitting like .600 or so against top pitchers from around the country. Not to mention he is the only outfielder named preseason All-American in Tennessee. It said in the newspaper he signed with Memphis on a full-ride. He runs anywhere from a 6.45 to a 6.35 and can definitly cover alot of ground.

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
