Ok, 6.16, Don't think so, those legs would be running track, not kneeling behind a plate or wherever else on a diamond.

Look, if you want to get on here a call out numbers, try and make them legit.

4.7 does not equal 6.16, more like 4.7=6.9, or 7.0. And may be you did see it, but somebodys stop-watching privelages need to be suspended.

Hey, how bout we just stop this thread before we all start running 4 flats and throwing triple digits.

1.2 Release? hahahahahahahaha. Know what you're talking about before you go trying to blow someone up to be better than they are.

Matt Ramsey has all the right tools to be a catcher, all depends on when he gets the metal side of catching, and I don't see it being too long for him because he is a smart kid who has his pitching to help.

Will Ramsey be behind the dish for Farragut or what? I know they have Micheal Williams who is another great catcher...whats it going to be?

spoke to coach pharr a couple of weeks back and at the time he wasn't planning on using him as a catcher, of course all that could change.

lol alright so why does it matter what a catcher runs the 60 in?? when was the last time you saw a catcher batting lead off in college? plus there is more to catching than just throwing the ball down to 2nd... thats the number 3 thing that coaches look for in a catcher.. first you have to be able to recieve the ball (not catch, big difference), two you have be to able to block every ball reachable- no excuse.. third arm strength/accuracy.. other being a leader on the field, controlling the pitching staff, knowledge of calling a game, situations, hitting... there is much more to being a "catcher" than just throwing.. Matt Montgomery from Creekwood is a great catcher and should have a great next two years behind the plate..

Any discussion of the best catchers in Tennessee should mention Ben Brewer of David Lipscomb. He not only is very, very good, but also has the physical attributes for the next level.

    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
