Mulloy5
Who do you think will win state this year in DI and in DII? With Father Ryan moving down and Franklin moving up to DI, things should be interesting. I think state Will come down to MUS and CBHS. I know Ravenwood is having a rebuilding year, and besides Sloan Sanders, MBA doesn't seem to potent. For DII, I think Father Ryan will have a good shot at winning this year with 15 seniors. I don't really know any of the other DII teams so it should be a fun season to watch unfold.
wkl13
i think it will come down to these four teams. Cookeville, West Knox, Father Ryan, and perhaps Brentwood. although, cookeville is in the same region as west knox..it'll be a interesting season for sure. i can't think of any other teams though, i'm sure i'm leaving out something. fivehole
It will be interesting to see how Father Ryan makes the transition from DI to DII, but it will be a shootout between them and Brentwood in the Central Division. Cookeville could be good again as well, but if I had to choose an pre-season favorite it has to be Brentwood or Cookeville

bearfeet
sorry hoss but brentwood wont be makin it to the chip this year Irish, you obviously are a FR fan, so who do you have returning that will make the difference for your team? And why are you so certain that Brentwood won't be returning? They are consistently strong each year.

Mulloy5
Irish, you obviously are a FR fan, so who do you have returning that will make the difference for your team? And why are you so certain that Brentwood won't be returning? They are consistently strong each year. Ryan has their Goalie back, their entire attack back, and with the exception of 2 middi's their middi lines are the same if not better. the deffense is new, but they players stepping up this year shouldn't have an issue playing together. I think that Ryan has just as good of a shot, if not a higher one because of the 15 seniors, than any other team. As a player of father ryan, i was sick when we played BHS so i really can't judge them. I know that i have beaten them everytime we have played, but it has been decided by 1 to 3 goals. they are a tough team that always gives us a fight. I heard that cookeville lost a lot of their guys, but since i have played in D1, i dont know them bc I have never played them. As a matter of fact, i only know BHS and centennial and JP2. I'm excited to play new teams, but to respond, we have a lot of returning players that are "impact" players, in my opion. MocsLaxFO
I'm counting on Mccallie this year in D1, I think they have some redemption to get after... D2 Top 3: Father Ryan, Centennial, Baylor

laxer7
I'm counting on Mccallie this year in D1, I think they have some redemption to get after... D2 Top 3: Father Ryan, Centennial, Baylor D1: Top 3 MUS, McCallie, MBA MUS overachieved last year and almost won it, this year could be another year for the Buzzards. You always have to put McCallie and MBA there. Well Coached, good athletes (all boy school - enough said), and they work hard. D2: Top 3 Cookeville, Brentwood, Baylor Cookeville almost won it last year (inexperience hurt them - maybe)(they may have been the best team last year), Brentwood probably should have had the best team if they had any disclipline, and Baylor could be a wild card (they are good in a lot of sports it is just a matter of time). MocsLaxFO
We played them(Baylor) Tuesday night, and they were very efficient in their passing, transitioning, and offensive setups. They still made some basic mistakes you'll see in high school, but they're very good for a young high school team. A few of them practiced in the summer and fall with us, so they're well adapted to college club style play, and most of my guys are Father Ryan and Franklin alum, and thought they played great. For sure a wild card..
