Based on what i know: 1) MUS 2) Mccallie/ MBA 3) Christian Brothers

MUS for sure has the best athletes and most experience, it would appear as if it's just a matter of them showing up.

Mccallie and MBA are pretty interesting. Both teams have graduated some key players, but they also have amazing talent in the 10th and 11th grades. Both of their JV teams decimated opponents last year. it would seem as if they simply need to develop some of those talented younger guys into contributers. that's the only way that i can see either team beating MUS.

As for CBHS, i haven't really seen for myself the kind of skill it takes to take out the other teams.

the only time i've really seen them play was last year in the playoffs against mccallie. in that game, both their faceoff guy and attackman were completely neutralized. if those are their best two strengths, then in my opinion it won't be enough.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
