FRANKLIN @ CENTENNIAL

It's that time again, the Centennial Cougars play host to arch-rivals Franklin Rebels this Friday, in a meeting of the top two teams in 11-AAA. The Rebels won the last contest 64-57, and have won the last 8 meetings between these two teams. Centennial will look to break that streak, as well as Franklin's 50 game winning streak in the district.

Many fans have said that the only real threat to the streak this year is Centennial. Will the Cougars get it done, or will the Rebels extend the streak?

Well, it seems like this topic always comes up, and it seems like the results are always the same. No reason to believe this one to be any different, even when Franklin seemingly does not "play well" or as stated by some folks on here, "so and so kept it close", the Rebels find a way to seal the deal.

I am pulling for Centennial in this game. Franklin is a machine...but they gotta get beat sometime. CHS better play perfect and hope Franklin is off. But it will probably be Franklin by 8 or more! Good luck!

The Rebels are due for a big night. They have not played a complete game in quite a while, so hopefully they will come out and play all four quarters.

Rebels by 11

The problem for Centennial has and always will be inconsistent guard play. They struggle mightily against pressure....Drew Kelly is gonna give you 24pts and 14rebs every night but frankly, he should get more points if he got the ball in the right spot at the right time.

Franklin's guard play is much better as a whole....Centennial may win, but it will take a great floor game by their guards in terms of decision making and protecting the ball

I agree, but should be a good game. My prediction is the Rebels keep the streak alive.
