IrishBBall
I've heard the school will have approximately 1200 to 1500 students. I think the school will be classified as AAA in basketball. I don't know if it will be AAAA or AAAAA in football. These figures may be wrong; this is just what I have heard through the grapevine. You are probably a little high on your initial numbers. 800-100 is more accurate. They are not going to have a senior class for the first year. It will grow in to the numbers you suggest within a year or two. The school is located in Hardin Valley. It's approximately half way between Karns and Farragut High Schools. It's in a great location just off Pellissippi Parkway. It will also be an academy school which may open up enrollment to the entire county system. CHEESEFRIES
Anybody know about the size school and classification? Where in Knox. County will the school be? The reason I ask is I am a expierenced coach (12 years- 10 in Tennessee, 2 in Alabama) currently coaching in Alabama and possibly looking to come back home to Tennessee- wife's family is there and we may need to be closer to them for undisclosed reasons. If you were heading from Knoxville to Oak Ridge via Pellissippi Parkway, HVA will be off the Hardin Valley exit to the left within a mile or so. I think they should have taken the name "Havoc" . Hardin Valley Havoc.

They will be able to recruit the entire county just like Maryville does. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

If you're Maryville, why limit it to 1 county. You make it seem like they just work Blount County. They had a pretty good recruiting year in Knox County 4 years ago with Burnette, Douglas and Clendenen (that I know of). I wish Catholic could hire their recruiting coordinator. He had 3 signees just working Knox County. Maybe he needs to start a younger recruiting service and selling subscriptions to area high school coaches. Kind of a middle school versions of Rivals for E. TN. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
Coachwo
I know the area fairly well since I went to school in Knoxville. Since I left the area has become Hardin Valley Road ect.. Anybody know if they are accepting resumes yet? Where to send them? I would assume they would go to the Knox County School Board but you never know. Getting back to basketball (since you Rebels are quick to turn anything back to football), Is Coach Clayton back? STARSNBARS- Swappin 3 for 1 seems to work out much better for the Red and Black. Guess y'all only got so many XXL and XXL jerseys anyway.
